City of Olympia
As the capitol city of the State of Washington, Olympia has a unique place in politics. Whether people acknowledge it, or not, all eyes are on the city and how they handle big problems in the state capitol. 
Our city organization is seven council members, one of which is elected as Mayor. However, the vast majority of the day-to-day city functions are handled by the City Manager, which is placed by the council.
